a haven for all.
Madison CrossRoads Presbyterian Church is proud to welcome all members of the community to its doors. With a warm and inviting atmosphere, we provide a haven for individuals seeking to deepen their faith and connect with the community of Madison CrossRoads.
Deeply rooted in Toney, Alabama, our church leadership is committed to creating a wholesome environment for studying the Word of God and addressing the concerns of the community from a Biblical perspective.
Whether you are a long-time Presbyterian or simply seeking to explore your faith, we offer a welcoming space where you can grow and thrive. With its commitment to southern hospitality and community, our church is truly
It’s easy to love Jesus. He’s patient, kind, gentle, and lowly. He literally traded His life so that we could experience eternal life and salvation. But obedience is hard. Following the commands of Jesus to love, forgive, and extend mercy is all so difficult. Thankfully He gave us a helper, the Holy Spirit. And thankfully, through the enabling of the Spirit we can enter into the life giving and sacrificial love shared by Jesus and God.
Bring your family and enjoy live music and a home-cooked meal.
Our worship leader, Allan Holcombe, leads a variety of music ranging from southern gospel to contemporary and favorite hymns. Everyone is invited to join in or just enjoy the music.
Spend quality time with your loved ones, create unforgettable memories, and leave feeling uplifted and inspired!
Let's all come together to worship and learn how to share and grow in Biblical truth in today's ever-changing world.

Many begin to gather at 10 am in the fellowship hall and visit over coffee and breakfast items that members have brought to share. By 10:15 we are visiting around the table and our attention turns to Sunday school. Worship begins at 11 am and we then gather in the sanctuary. Our call to worship is lead by Allan Holcombe through music, followed by traditional but casual Presbyterian liturgy and sermon. We welcome visitors but do not call them out to introduce themselves. Crying babies and roaming toddlers don't bother us, but if they need space, a nursery is available.
Our vision is to create a community that fosters growth and development in today's ever-changing world. We believe that everyone should have a place where they can feel safe to explore and connect with others who share the Word of God. We aim to provide a welcoming and wholesome environment that offers such opportunities for personal growth, learning, and enhancing our connection with the Father, Sun, and Spirit.
We are committed to proclaiming the Word of God as truth and light in a world that is blurring the lines of right and wrong. The church provides a space where individuals can come to deepen their relationship with God and know they are not alone.
The community of Toney, Alabama, and the Madison CrossRoads Church have a unique history, not unlike my husband and me. Although we come from different backgrounds, we are united in our purpose of living for the glory of God.
He joined our two very different and diverse histories in marriage to lead the congregation at Madison CrossRoads Church. Our youngest daughter says that makes us “Presbycostals!” Although we think that’s a catchy name, we understand that denominations are just different parts of the body of Christ’s church. We know there are some doctrinal differences that are important to talk about and wrestle with, but as truth seekers and Christ followers, we are united in our belief in God.
Our denomination affiliation is PCUSA, but we believe this is secondary to the teachings of Christ and the authoritative Word of God in scripture. We believe God is revealed in three forms: Father, Son, and Spirit. Through the Son, Jesus, we can know God and have a personal, life-altering relationship with all of who God is.
If you believe this and would like to learn more about growing in knowledge that comes from God’s Word (The Bible) and knowing God through the person of Jesus and the fellowship of the Spirit, then I invite you to join us at Madison CrossRoads Church.
The community of Toney, Alabama, and the Madison CrossRoads Church have a unique history, not unlike my husband and me. Although we come from different backgrounds, we are united in our purpose of living for the glory of God. I come from a Mormon upbringing in California and later chose to grow in faith and follow God’s call on my life in the Presbyterian church, where I am now an ordained Minister (Teaching Elder). My husband grew up in South Carolina with a Pentecostal upbringing and spent his childhood leading worship with his family until he joined the army. After retiring from the army, he returned to using his gift of music to lead worship.

We all come from different backgrounds and places in life, but as one body works together, so we grow together in friendship, support, and love.
